Our workouts are created and published for the convenience of our members. The programming represents the desires, needs and abilities of our members and staff. All workouts are intently instructed, coached and scaled according to each individual present.
We schedule for 6 days straight, using a rotating plan, based on a 6 week cycle. This program is meant to expose our clients of varying schedules, abilities and fitness levels to "constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements" on a "micro and macro" scale. Each cycle will have a distinct emphasis or "bias" towards a chosen fitness domain, unique to each cycle.
We subscribe to a heavy strength and power bias and use complex barbell movements with relatively heavy loads. Our conditioning workouts mostly emphasize shorter, very high intensity, functional movements, both weighted and un-weighted. Skill work and assistance exercises are used to supplement our programming in order to drive individual improvement.
Our clients are instructed in proper rest and recovery and are expected to chose work and rest days with this in mind. Attempting to do every workout, 6 days in a row, will surely lead to overtraining and/or injury. Attempting our workouts, on your own, without proper instruction, coaching, warmup and supervision is likely beyond the capabilities of all beginners and most novices. Don't be stupid.
Note- Plan your weekly or monthly workout schedule ahead of time, be consistent and DON'T BE A CHERRY PICKER!
